About the network
Netzwerk Recherche strengthens all those who do journalistic research. A vibrant democracy needs critical reporting that provides background information and exposes grievances. That’s why it defends freedom of the press as the foundation of an informed and responsible society.
Netzwerk Recherche teaches the necessary skills for research using classic and innovative methods, supports courageous projects with scholarships and with conferences, it promotes collegial exchange, knowledge transfer and critical examination of one’s own work. Netzwerk Recherche connects journalists in Germany, Europe and the world.
